Elizabeth Crowley
Elizabeth Crowley (born November 27, 1977) is the Council member for the 30th District of the New York City Council. She is a Democrat. The district includes portions of Cypress Hills, Elmhurst, Forest Hills, Forest Park, Glendale, Kew Gardens, Long Island City, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ozone Park, Rego Park, Richmond Hill, Ridgewood, Sunnyside, Woodhaven and Woodside in Queens.
==Life and career==
Crowley has an M.S. in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute’s Graduate School of Architecture and a B.A. ''magna cum laude'' in Restoration and Preservation from SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology where she was a Presidential Scholar.
On March 19, 2012, Crowley announced that she would seek the Democratic nomination for New York's 6th congressional district.
